Brown Scum Line

2 1/2 days into my brew (extract and hops) and I have a brown scum stuck to the sides of my FV where the bubbles rose and fell from, is this just some of the trub or do I have a problem - or will it cause me a problem if I leave it there??

It is perfectly normal. Sometimes it looks worse than other times.

I believe it is just an accumulation of old yeast with a bit of hops and some of the other ingredients of beer. :thumb:

It did come about fairly quick but it does look a little disturbing to the untrained eye :oops:
