This is an interesting one. The toffee apple aroma and taste are quite prominent. As such not bad but taste-wise a little overbearing. The whole concoction is on the sweet side.
On its own I probably won’t brew this again. However, like Baldrick, I have a cunning plan. So far the best cider kit I tried was the Muntons Premium Gold Autumn Blush. That was rather on the dry side but with a nice, full apple flavour. Perhaps I should try combining the two. If I do, I will report back on the result.
One thing I definitely didn't like. The sachet of yeast also contained sweetener. That went straight into the bin.
