Yes two jars tipped straight in. I never scrapped them clean so probably about 800g

Unfortunately not. Didn't want to mess with it any more than I had to. Plus I thought as the yeast had been doing its thing for 20hrs I couldn't really rely on the reading as OG and as I didn't get to give it a good mix id probably get a unreliable reading.

I used a jar of H&B ME with 1kg brew enhancer on a coopers stout that's in the FV now and got an OG of 1054. Two jars added to wort that's 1032 should give you a nice punchy 6%ish brew.

I hope you sprayed sanitizer on the lids, and everything that came in contact with your jars. That stuff is great for little buggies.
