Hello guys. Newish brewer looking at getting either a Wilko cerveza or Cooper's cerveza.
I am wanting to try get it to about 5.5abvs.
I know people recommend to use some spraymalt and sugar but no sure how much I need of what!
Any tips would be awesome thanks folks

I'm not sure about the 5.5. I never worry about that.
I'm more concerned with taste. The general idea would be to use Spraymalt.
In my opinion if you're talking about table sugar that would be a big no.
Also sugar as in Dextrose would thin it out and give less taste.

I've never made it and only seen posts of people being underwhelmed with it.
If you haven't bought it yet I'd go with a Cooper Euro Lager instead and put in
a kg of spraymalt and some saaz or hallertau.

I've tried both and the wilko is best IMO. Brewed mine to 21ltrs with 1kg brewing sugar and was lovely, good head all the way down and plenty strong enough at around 5%. Went well with a dash of lime too.
Did it last year, wishing I had one ready now for this hot summer.
