I'm thinking of brewing a special beer for Christmas using my own recipe:

Makes 5 litres

1000g Belgium pale malt
250g crystal malt
500g Munich malt

Mash 63c 90mins

2g Amarillo hops 60min, 3g 15min, 6g end
6g Chinook 5min
3.5g Orange peel, 2g Corriander seed, 1 cinnamon stick, and 40g dried cranberry 5min

Honey 250g

Mangrove Jack's Belgian Triple yeast

Does this sound good? I might play around with some different hops but these are what I have at home atm.

I wouldn't use those hops but it's your beer.

As I said at the end of my post, I have only got these to hand atm and was thinking of changing them up.

What hops would you suggest for this particular brew?

You could use the Chinook @60m and forget the late addition. Maybe 6g, maybe less?
A whole cinnamon stick might be a bit much for 5L.

I'm not into Belgian beer yet... I'll be doing a stout,an English bitter and a big hoppy IPA...maybe a porter and a brown ale. Also some cider goes down well..you can do some toddy with it.

I'm still a noobie when it comes to brewing beer so I'm on an experimental spree. Definitely going to try a stout soon.
