Struggled with closed transfer today only to find that my cider had frozen in the fridge(!) during cold crash.... Lesson learnt check the temp of your fermented booze before transfer! On the positive side I'd assume the slush left lost at the bottom was mostly water (have I accidently distilled cider?) which can only lead to stronger cider! Cheers
