I have seen an oxi type cleaner discussed on the forum several times and iirc the pound shop sell it could someone tell me if that is correct and its name, thanks.

I use the Wilkos stuff linked below.
It shifts stains on clothing and is good for soaking crud out of buckets etc. It's basically Vanish, but less than half the price.

I should have mentioned it is for clothing but if it also cleans the brewing kit all the better.

That's the stuff I use as well. Cheap, and effective in warm water.

Oxyclean but make sure it's unscented.
