I'm confused by the mentions of Oxy...

There are several different varieties of OxyClean, for different purposes - which version is the one to use for equipment cleaning purposes?

One thread mentions Wilko's Oxi Plus, which seems to be a laundry cleaner - is that one OK for equipment cleaning?

I have some Chemsan on order, just waiting for its delivery, for the final sanitising rinse.

It all the same stuff really. The active ingredient doing the cleaning is sodium percarbonate. The rest of the stuff in oxyclean type cleaners is things like surficents. You can buy 70% sodium percarbonate on Ebay. Oxycleans are about 5% SP

Denture tablets are good if you have a mineral build up on the bottom. Leave overnight with oxy and brush out the next day.

Denture tablets are great for cleaning things that will contain drinking fluids :) Use them regularly in my water bottles for cycling.
