I’m using a plastic 1 gallon DJ and notice that as my wine clears there is a build up of sediment on the ribbing from top to bottom. Not a lot but enough to notice.

Has anyone discovered a way to combat this?

Does it look like this?

If it does ignore the sediment if you are careful when you rack it shouldn't be an issue.

Yes it does thanks, actually as I bottled the sediment dislodged and sank fastWe than the syphoning.
Thanks again

What i have done in the past is the night before you plan to rack swirl the bottle gently to dislodge the sediment it'll them fall to the bottom and make racking easier.
