Complete 100 Litre HERMS Brewery For Sale
3 Vessel Stainless Steel Set up 100L SS Fermenter

This ‘Turnkey’ 100L HERMS brewery setup is based on plans from the Electric Brewery.com and built by the respected Powell Brewing. It contains everything you need to start and run a small micro-brewery, just add the silicon tubing! It's all working and running a small commercial brewery that brews once a week until my new equipment arrives from Italy. This 3V All Grain HERMS set up has made some award winning beers and is only being sold due to expansion.

It has the ability to brew 2x 9gal casks (80L) per batch with a very high brewhouse efficiency (around 90%) due to the ability to do step mashes and re-circulating through the HERMS coil. The whole thing is powered with one 32A supply to the control box, from there the power is distributed to each element.

You can mash in at around 70c and then just set the desired mash temp on the controller and leave it. The temp will stabilise and maintain itself so you always get the mash spot on. It really is a dream to use compared to other systems I’ve used.

The 2x 3kW elements in the boil kettle mean you can get a very vigorous rolling boil in about 30mins, then switch one element off to maintain a steady rolling boil. It can handle both whole leaf or pellet hops due to the whirlpool port and side filter in the Boil Kettle, so you can make some really flavourful beers.

The fermenter is completely temperature controlled so you can create any style of beer no matter what the outside temps are. It will cool down to 2c for crash cooling at the end of fermentation so you will get a very clear final product without the use of finings.

I have an operating manual and step by step brew day instructions.

The whole thing is freestanding on a custom made Stainless steel table, which can be included in the sale. Total cost spent was about £3k (and a lot of time!) on all the listed parts separately and I'm looking for £1900 for the complete setup including the custom made brew stand.
