Hi all,
I've been kindly given a tin of Coopers IPA at xmas, but all my experience so far has been AG doing small-batch stovetop BIAB.
Instead of using DME/LME and/or sugar, I was thinking of doing a mash with 2kg-ish of Maris Otter (to yield about 10L of wort), then adding the kit (plus about 10L of water) to that, anyone done similar who can comment on the results?
Should I consider lightly hopping the AG portion during the boil, or will the hops in the can extract be enough?
Will probably dry hop too, but I've read differing opinions on this kit and if the hopping out of the can is enough for an IPA style.
Would appreciate any experiences or ideas before I get started! :)
