Hi all - qq for ya.

Been a month since a brew and wort coming out of mash tun (AG of course) via Copper Manifold I noticed quite a bit of green residue (assume oxidization). I was able to get all the bigger bits out with a strainer but fear the worst.

My manifold is more or less like this one -

1) is this batch ruined (Fermentation looks fine)
2) How do I clean the Manifold to make sure it doesn't happen again?

Thanks!!

should have said - before brewing I washed down good with water - soaked in boiling water - then soaked in Brewclean - then washed out with water...

is oxyclean different/better than Brewclean for this?

Verdigris? I'm surprised there would have been enough time to form in a month.

Oxyclean is mildly acidic (as is wort) and therefore effective against verdigris (Ref: John Palmer). Not sure about Brewclean.
