Morning all

Brewed a lemon wheat last week and just remembered today I didn’t add coriander seeds (as intended). I will add some in a tea when I ‘dry hop’ (about 3-4 days before bottling) with more lemon zest. Question is how much shall I use at this stage? Obviously different amount than what I intended to during the boil. It’s a 10l batch about a week in.

Any ideas????

Ta in advance

Hard to say how much, only less to account for the gassing off of fermentation.

The other thing to consider is that they may give a different flavour profile as the some of oil in them won't have been bio-transformed through fermentation. Coriander seeds contain two oils often found in hops (geraniol and pinene). Geraniol has a floral taste, but is bio-transformed into b-citronellol (lemon, lime) during fermentation. Although, with the likely quantities involved, this won't have a dramatic impact.
