Just wanted to express my condolences on the cost of citra. I had no idea at the difference in price from the states and the UK even for UK grown hops.....

I stopped buying USA hops a couple of years ago. Way too expensive just for a slightly different flavour. I'll stick to UK hops. Even better the ones I grow myself.

This is from a local brewery to me, He delivers personally to ME postcodes, but he does deliver nationally for a cost.
Not used him myself yet, but I will.

US Citra Hops (Whole Leaf): 500g
Product Availability: In Stock
£ 16.50
Details
Hop: US Citra Type: Whole Leaf Year: 2019 Alpha: 12%

Quite a bit of it is accounted for by the difference in pack sizes and UK homebrew (but not wholesale brewing) supplies being subject to VAT.

But eg 225g Citra 2020 pellets at CML is £15.50 including shipping = US$21.43

8oz of Citra pellets (no year specified) at my namesake (no relation!) is US$22.99 = £16.63 + shipping (free >$40)

My go to is geterbrewd for 1kg bulk hops.Normally get 4 or 5 kg at a time.
1kg of 2020 citra £38.75, honestly can't complain at them prices.

If you want uk hops, any thing from £16 to £20 for 1kg bags.
