I have a straining bag on order and am hoping to have a go at some country wine real soon.

Whatever fruit I use if I stew/crush the fruit etc and then make a must up to 4 litres (shoulder of the DJ) and check the SG of the must I'll be able to use one of the conversion charts to work out how much sugar to add.

Is that how you guys do it ?

Hope that makes sense 🤔

Thats one way to do it

I just add sugar at the start to get to 1070 gravity (My standard SG) and go from there, Adding extra sugar as i find the wine needs.

However most things I brew end up dry and about 15-16%abv,
But thats just my personal preferences not an instruction. 😁
