A beautiful balti my wife made in the slow cooker, with Mexican spicy rice, with a nice cold glass of Evil Dog !
I loved it and we've got more packed up in the fridge and the freezer.

She had me pick up some natural yoghurt, so we can make our own naans , the ones in the picture are giant garlic and coriander, I'm also going to use them for pizza bases this weekend, they are really nice

This was my last one, it's a reheat from the night before and I added lots of dessicated coconut to the sauce. Not used it before in a curry, only fresh cocconut, tinned coconut milk and creamed coconut. I'd recommend all those before dessicated coconut! Was still good though. The naans were a mix of wholewheat, spelt, self raising flour, milk, nigella seed powder and sesame seeds, also yeast and oil

I made the Misty R base on Tuesday. I could have sworn I doubled up on the recipe last time, so I did the same again this time. Couldn't even get the ingredients
into the 7ltr pot. Ended up doing 1.5 x the recipe which gave me 6ltrs of base gravy. That's enough for 66 curries at the size I make.
The missus is absolutely hooked on the Madras, says she'd have it every night.🥘

6 litres , I'd never get away with that !

Most of it’s in the freezer, 16 ziplock bags x 330 ml each.
I made a massive vindaloo on Wednesday which is in the freezer as well.
Good job my wife loves curry, let’s me get away with murder.
I’ve tried lots of different base gravy’s. The Misty R one is the best I’ve tried.

For Clint , the homemade naans are good, unfortunately I couldn't find nigela seeds but the texture is right.
I also made one into a pizza for my grandson and topped it with German smoked cheese .

Heres another online resource. Latifs Inspired
Since lockdown he's started making family recipes with his mum and aunt helping out which is much more interesting than the older BIR ones.
