During lockdown I tried making damson wine using this recipe - Damson Wine Recipe - Rich & Perfect For Aging. The damsons were halved and frozen in September 2019. At present the wine has a bitter taste and is amber in colour so I am thinking this may be a "fail". I have this year's damsons in the freezer ready to try again. I have seen another recipe using Rohavin Color and just wondered if this would help with the colour of the wine or has anyone a working recipe I can try? I have 8 times 1.5kg of damsons so can try several recipes !!
