Hi all,

I brewed a pale ale yesterday and it has come out significantly darker than I expected (wort).

Recipe:
4.5kg extra pale MO
1kg naked malted oats
1kg flaked oats
1kg flaked wheat

Mashed malts at 67c for 45 mins then added unmalted grains for 30 mins, added 5l hot water to maintain 67c for this time.

Boiled for 15 mins.
Chilled to 75c then added 100g wai iti and 100g nelson sauvin to stand for 30 mins.
Chilled to 24 and transferred to fermenter.

Used RO water and adjusted with salts to bru n water's 'yellow balanced' profile. This calculator said I should have been around 5.37ph, but my pH meter broke and I haven't got around to replacing it yet so not sure what it was in reality.

OG was 1067, should finish at 6.6%.

Any ideas as to what is causing this? I had the same issue on another pale ale I brewed a couple of months ago.
