Are they worth using?

It's getting a bit chilly these days and I'm hoping for a high-alcohol dessert wine to finish, so I need it to get up to 17/18%ish and hopefully not take a year to get there!

Can anyone vouch for a particular type?

Place DJ in water bath and use "fish tank" heater.

i can get a brew belt around 3 djs and keep it at 20 degrees. But they cost £20.
ive also boxed in a shelf and heat the space with a fan heater.
Someone posted an ebay link for fish tank heaters costing £2 so the water bath heater idea is ingenious.
