Hi folks,

Just bottling my first ever batch of wine (wineworks Chardonnay) and I've accidently disturbed the sediment with the end of the syphon. Hence I have a 'cloudy' bottle.

It's not all done yet and my intention is to leave the cloudy one to stand for a while, and also leave what's still in the fermenting bin for an extra 2 or 3 days then bottle the rest being a little more careful.

Does this sound like a reasonable plan?

Should be fine mate just put the fermenting bin lid back on and it should resettle. The bottled one should be fine with in a few hours.

Cheers

For some reason I always end up disturbing the last inch or so in a DJ so I put in a bottle and leave it in the fridge for a few days the siphon it into a clean bottle leaving the sediment behind.
