I will say this , if you decide to have it I have it one meal a day generally or two but get a blender, I have a bottle blender, also it allows me to add things to the powder for example the chocolate one I add peanut butter too or the vanilla some ground ginger or cinnamon or berries. You can customise it a bit

It does take a little while for your palete to get used to it though but once you do it is fine.

I already have a daily flaxseed/chai seed shake (made with nut or coconut milk) to get my omega's in. Having something like this would work well for me I think. It has lot of info on the site and tells you exactly whats in the powder, so I don't think it would be too hard for me to put together a low carb version (may need to concede the not taking a daily multi vit though)

I did have a blender but I broke it as the same time as breaking my favourite glass tankard (dont ask me how. Just one of those bizzarre accidents). I have a stick blender at the mo that I use to make soups.

Vegans are all total hypocryts - I'm a farmer, vegans have no bl**dy idea what happens when a combine rips it's way across a field.
Your average bag of wholemeal flour contains up to 5% insect matter plus assorted small mammals, amphibians and reptiles.

The difference is they choose not to eat animals that are purposely bred and killed to feed us critters that get caught up in a combine harvester are not.

Just out of curiosity though, is it even possible to eat in a vegan way, or a way that involves no living/animal matter somewhere down the line or process whilst getting the RDA of all vitamins?

I'm not normally bothered what folk eat or don't, but when an old pal of mine ( who used to be a fit, strapping guy but now looks gaunt and dishevelled ) came to my drum the other day, he said he'd stopped eating meat to 'save the planet and fight climate change'. W...T...F?!?! I didn't argue, just showed him the door. There's enough **** going down in my life right now without having to endure that sort of nonsense, from anyone.

I'll never be able to understand veganism. Vegetarianism or more preferably Pescetarianism (With fish, cheese, milk and all the good stuff), I can understand it, and I can accept these may be amongst the healthiest diets, alongside the cave-man diet = meat, veg and fruit.

But with the information available to us all, all should be informed of the dangers of veganism, known young fit, active people who have been fainting on their feet because of their poor food intake choices.

Regarding the meat thing...one opinion states that it takes "hundreds" of litres of water to make a beef burger...carrying on like this we'll be doomed....all the forests gone etc....but it carries on and on...are the powers that control these things that daft? Is it lies? Is it true?
Saving the planet? Yet wars rage everywhere....all planned no doubt to control "assets"...whether if be land, oil, water, food, gold or people.
You can choose what to eat for sure but we're designed to eat everything...my personal opinion...in "gluts",as that is how our food would have been available originally, before farming. Farming we do because we have to...but we didn't evolve being farmers.

I agree, that humans are adaptable, but have preferences.

On the subject of 'earth conservation' one theory put forward is that the reason for the desertification of large areas of the earth is because there are not enough herd animals grazing, pissing and pooing on the ground to keep co2 embedded in the soil and keeping it nourished.. Check it out on TedTalks.

Eat meat, save the world.

I thought over grazing was a major reason for desertification especially non selective grazers like goats, but if you post a link to the video I will check it out.

An interesting watch and it would appear he has the evidence to back up what he is saying, what would he gain by making all this up?

There are loads of conflicting opinions on every aspect of climate change and they can all sound like they have the correct evidence on there own. So loads of people are getting something from making stuff up or there not making it up there just wrong.

My Mrs has been a veggie since 18 (37 yrs) her grandad was a butcher and had a farm and slaughtered his own animals, enough to put anyone off when confronted with the process of slaughtering an animal. She's never ill, she's never been in hospital and fit as a fiddle. Me on the other hand is falling to bits, i eat healthy fish 3 times a week, chicken no red meat, my cholesterol is 10!! and i am a moderate drinker. Eat what you want, don't criticise others for making a lifestyle choice, when your times up its up. Happy brewing
