I've actually been drinking less beer for years now. In my youth I'd have around 30 pints a week, admittedly low ABV bitter or mild (the lovely thin watery stuff). Nowadays my quota is 10 bottles per week, plus a couple of pints in the pub. I think its a common trend in the UK, thats why pubs a struggling so much.
