Guys,
I'll be making a Extra Strong Bitter Kit very soon and although the kit will already have it's bittering hops in the extract, I was pondering with the idea of dry hopping to add a little more interest and character to the finished beer. As I am sure like many others, I've often done this to Pale Ales and the like with aromatic hops like Citra, Cascade, etc but I've never dry hopped a bitter.
So, what would be a good choice of hop variety or (varieties) to give more flavour but not necessary additional bitterness. What have you used and what have you had the most pleasing results from?
Thanks.
