Dry January 2022 ?

I'm going to attempt to be dry during the week and only drink on weekends.
But....

Great Christmas but that's it, never drinking again. And by never, I mean until weekends. I should also mention that I refuse to conform to societal constructs of what constitutes "weekday" and "weekend" and reserve the right to initiate 'the weekend' at any time I see fit. Glad I've cleared that up🙂

My weekends are when I finish shift this last 15 years hahaha..
 
Nah, January is one of the most miserable and depressing months of the year so why make it worse for yourself 😆

In all seriousness though I probably will be cutting back and I've just embarked on a training plan for a marathon at the end of April so I expect I'll need a few early / sober starts for runs. Might even quit completely after my 50th birthday in February until after the marathon event 😮
