Hi guys, a bit of advice would be appreciated.
I’m making a Pilsner next, I have 4kg of Pilsner Malt and S23 yeast
What size batch can I make and what benefit would I get from reusing the Punk IPA trub? Will I get some of the almost 300g of hop flavour? Maybe I should throw the Salfager yeast in and ferment at 12 degrees anyway.
Thanks

Ideally make a starter with s23. If you dont have spraymalt use some wort from your brew and pitch 12 hours later once it gets going (diluted to 1040). I have been doing this recently so i don't have to decant the starter and fermentation starts much faster.

Would anybody use the IPA trub or are the hops a spent force?
Cheers
I don't see yeast and dry hop lifespans in wort / beer as compatible.

If you want to pitch anything on the yeasty/hoppy/trubby stuff, you would really have had to have asked yourself:

What beer style would want this? , and not:

What can I do with this spent investment?

Sorry, mate!

Last question!
I don’t have any brewing software, can someone help me with the hops in this brew?
I want to get the bittering correct.
I have 100g of Hersbrucker
50g of Summit
50g of Eukanot
50g of Ahtanum
30g of Sorachi Ace
20g of Nelson Sauvin
Anyone come up with a tasty, hoppy Pilsner?
Please?
