Yep the Simply kit's are great value for money. Just drinking a pint of Simply Yorkshire bitter, as i type this, and you can get em for less then a tenner, but i would say put some DME with them or they tend to be a bit thin.
Try the Richie's Simply kits, my favourite one can kits and you can add/experiment with them to find something you like. Their pale ale is excellent as it is but even better with a dry hop addition.

I havnt tried the Yorkshire bitter, will have to give it a go. I agree a bit of DME does improve the kit but if I don't add and just use brewing sugar I'll brew it short to 20l.
