hi every one looking or advice going to try elderflower champagne now I read the safest way is to ferment all the way then add sugar to prim now my wife likes a sweeter wine so I was wondering how you would back sweeten the bottles

Artificial sweetener. Use anything fermentable and it'll just ferment out to dry and potentially result in over primed bottles if you add it at bottling.

I have just made a batch (under duress I hasten to add) and used some of that 'half and half' sugar (it's got some sweetener in it) to make it. Primed with regular table sugar. I had a taster at bottling and I have concede it wasn't half bad.
