When i got my 100watt Marshall stack and fender strat,Boy did i rock the neighborhood.

However i eventually sold the lot for a Gibson 335 and a 5watt valve junior.
Not so loud but the "play-ability" was fantastic.
I could play bar chords, solos etc,etc for the first time ever.
The "action" was the reason.

A Danelectro. You can pick them up cheap in most places. They tend to have a thin sound due to their lipstick pick-ups. They are solidly built, beloved by Alternative and Indie bands and look just that bit different.

If it's good enough for Jimmy Page....
I have a Danelectro pedal and it's ace. Would love one of the guitars. Maybe when my husband isn't looking. wink...

I used to use the FAB Overdrive..good pedal. Also had BOSS Flanger, BOSS Acoustic Simulator, BOSS Floor Tuner, Dunlop Wahwah, all powered up and housed on a floorboard....those were the days!
