I've got a Cream ale planned for those two hot summer days we're going to get later in the year and I've come up with the following recipe which sits nicely in the style guidelines.
Is there any issue with using 10% or so each of Rice and Maize?
"Facedown" Cream Ale
OG: 1.048
FG: 1008
EBC: 5.6
IBU: 16.5
BU:GU: 0.35
ABV: 5.1%
Batch Size: 23L
Grain Bill
4kg Low Colour Maris Otter
500g Torrified Flaked Rice
500g Torrified Flaked Maize
200g Carapils
Hop Additions
10g Magnum @ 60 mins
15g Tetnang @ 10 mins
Yeast
West Coast Ale 1
