You need some space blankets to go with all of that. I have a couple for insulating my pot when mashing. Whether they actually do anything over an above the normal blankets I'm not sure - but they're shiny!!:mrgreen:
 
But will it have the style and panache of this little beauty?


The brown stained sellotape around the bubble wrap is tidy - I clearly need to upgrade mine!

Each time I put a brew away and string tape around it I can't help thinking there must be a better way! [emoji1]

Checked a Golden Ale 48 hours into fermentation last week. The insulated FV had risen to 23 degrees!

Am going to get cracking on a brew fridge

As a newbie I used a standard bungee cord as it just fitted around the FV with a little bit of spring to keep it there. Not aware of what others used I just used what I had.
Bubble wrap on the sides and a few towels on the top.

Still putting together bits for a base heat pad/ drip tray thing.
