Looking for any thoughts on this Amber Ale recipe I've put together for my next brew.

OG: 1.054
ABV: 5.6%
Size: 19L

4kg Maris Otter
300g Simpsons Amber Malt
300g CaraAmber
350g Simpsons Medium Crystal

8g Centennial - 30 mins
8g Chinook - 30 mins
8g Centennial - 10 min
8g Chinook - 10 mins
10g Centennial - 20 min whirlpool
10g Chinook - 20 min whirlpool
20g Centennial - 5 day dry hop
20g Chinook - 5 day dry hop

I wouldn't use 4 Kg of potatoes, you might have a bit of trouble getting it to clear. The other additions are going to make it very rich. Just a thought, as you like Simpson's, have you tried their Imperial malt? In my opinion it's excellent.
 
Potatoes on my mind for some damn reason. You know what I mean though.
 
Don't think this thread went the way Leard wanted, he's getting a bit roasted for his mistake :(
 
I've not made or drunk an american style amber for ages so I'm not too sure. It'll certainly have a lot of malt flavours though with that grainbill. I imagine that is what you want though? I like an assertive bitterness to most of my beers and I'd probably aim for about 60-70 ibus for that beer so it would probably need more bittering hops for me . Personal taste though

I'd brew it then adjust it if you brew it again if you think it needs it
