Just been to my local polskie sklep and bought four bottles of various beers coming out of the Staropolskie brewery. Each in flip top bottles.

Has anyone re-used these for home brew. The red rubbery thing feels a bit less rubbery than a Wilko empty flip top. Bottle weight seems good. £2.79 each.

(Beer contents verdict: it’s not bad. It’s not great. But it’s still early in the evening)

Only one way to find out. Can't think why they shouldn't be up to the job.
Can't you get flip top stoppers and put them on ordinary bottles? Like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wobekuy-St...op+stopper+with+collar&qid=1633551651&sr=8-53or this:
https://www.amazon.fr/Duhalle-931-B...G,B07SCWTWGV,B011LCUW6C,B07X3LVWZ2,B011SQNSJYThere are some really nice ones with a solid, clip-on collar, but I can't find them on Amazon.

When I lived in France these were available in every Brico, but I have never seen them for sale in the UK unfortunately
They're easy to get here as so many people make their own cider and it's always fizzy cider.
It's easy to order them from amazon. fr for delivery to the UK. You don't need to open a new account and all your payment details are held centrally at amazon. com.
