I've got a corny keg and co2 canister, to avoid sediment in bottles and risk of adding too much sugar etc.. would it be a good idea to carbonate my beer in the corny, and when happy with the carbonation level, bottle direct from the tap on the corny? Or am I risking oxidizing the beer when it comes out the tap?

I do this regularly to empty as corny or take half a dozen beers.

add CO2 to bottles first so splashing does not oxidise then use bottling stick with a soft white bung

it's a no2 drilled stopper from hop and grape, picnic tap and some odd tubing. I don't do high pressure beers so no problems.

stopper the bottle, open the tap fill to the top easing the stopper to release pressure as it fills, remove the bottler and cap, simples.

I did similar when I had my cornies with syphon tube, little bottler and gaffer tape!

It works well, but try and get the corny as cold as possible for a few days before bottling so the CO2 stays in solution as much as possible.
