Hi all, as the title suggests thinking of ordering some local Kelham island beer once I have moved, but don't think I will get through 20 litres as I don't drink as much these days, do you see any reason why I can't decant from beer in a box to a corny and keep it under gas to prolong the life even if by only 2 weeks. I have considered them just filling my keg directly.

any suggestions welcomed cheers.

I have no experience of corny kegs, but that sounds fine to me as it would certainly work if you bottled some for a couple of weeks. Presumably best to do it sooner rather than later when you get the beer.

I would think that would work just be as careful when transferring of any oxidation issues but if done carefully then gassed up it should be ok IMO

Always try adding a small amount of sodium metabisulfite as an oxygen scavenger along with the above recommendations as well
