Frozen blackberries advice

Hi,

I picked some blackberries in 2016 so three years ago and I had too many so froze about a kilo of them and they have been in the bottom of the chest freezer ever since. I have picked some fresh blackberries this year but need more so wanted to know if the ones that have been frozen for 3 years will be safe to make wine with.

Don't see why not. They're frozen!

Thanks. Thats what I thought but there is conflicting information online about how long you can store frozen foods.

Probably be better lol. Might even come out like mush when they defrost - low effort!

I seem to remember 18 months being the longest you should keep frozen fruit and veg.

A website I found today says best within a year but should stay safe indefinitely if kept frozen at 0 degrees Fahrenheit so should be ok. Thanks for replies
