Money talks........ like it or not, most have their price.

Having said that, the Japanese are very traditional, and respect tradition, so in a way it's more plasuible that Fuller's will remain as it is.

@Alex.mc Dream on and everyone else can stop worrying.

There will be a "new and improved" version available within the year. This will happen when Asahi find a way of making it at less cost; but the price will almost certainly go up, because it is a "new and improved" version.

The fact that the "new and improved" version tastes like cat's **** will not prevent it from coming on to the market and being bought and consumed by people who don't know any better!

Oh, do come on. FLP is one of the simplest recipes in the world of beer. And it is the same as Fullers Extra Special Bitter, except for the amount of water. The English hops are little more than a mish-mash of what's on offer at the time.

... and Newky Brown is exactly the same before the business changed hands!

Greg Hughes gives us all a good approximation on P160. Why anyone trusts an ancient and corrupted brand in the age of instant communication defies belief. I used to drink Boddingtons in the 1980's. for example.

Has Pilsner Urquell changed under Asahi? Or is it still brewed at the same Czech brewery as it has always been?

Does anyone know if hop head changed since fullers started making it after they bought dark star?
