It is time to present my first impressions video for the freshly released (in some markets) Grainfather G70.
Unlike the sponsored videos out there already this video provides much more information about the pros and cons of this system in the sort of detail I believe is needed for a product of this price.
Also included is all the latest news in relation to release and prices.
I will be following up with my first brew experience shortly and after some further testing and brews will present my final findings and review.
As usual, thank you for all your kind support and enthusiasm for my channel.
Please keep your questions, feedback and requests coming but please give me some time to answer, I get a lot of messages and answer them in the order they were sent in, particularly those on Facebook messenger tend to stack up! If you are comfortable then please ask questions within Facebook groups, forums or Youtube, so that others can also either benefit or contribute.
Happy brewing!

Fantastic video as always David. Looking forward to the brew day. I deal with an awful lot of precision stainless steel manufacturing companies & to be quite honest the construction of this (for the price point) is shoddy at best.

Great video Dave. The pie chart is interesting...around 70%,combined,say it's too big and expensive. I wonder what % of homebrewers actually brew up to this capacity?
For the price there are some cosmetic issues and I really like the fact you've properly read the manual and found the errors...I'm keen on such things!

Just started to watch, i like the "Full Disclosure Declaration" a good move there Dave.
Hope you enjoy it :) Yes, I have been using this for a while now. I used to just let the content speak for itself but that was not enough for everyone so in it went!

Thank you. Yes, clearly they should have improved it for the price point or given it a more realistic price point in the start. You have to wonder if they will be reducing the price at some point as I really cannot see this selling well.

Thanks Clint. It is clear that 19-25L brews are the most popular world wide but there is still a reasonable market out there for larger systems.

I was definitely considering the G70 for when we move houses, this won’t be till later on in the year. My G30 suites me well at the moment with the limited space i have. Hopefully by the the time we sell up and move....... it’ll be cheaper acheers.

Will watch this tonight with interest. Too close to brew tools money though. I think the masses who need that brew length will just buy a 65L generic Robobrew type system or go balls out for much higher quality Brewtools IMO.

I hope you found it useful. Yes, all the feedback I am getting suggests this. I have to say this is a missed opportunity for both GF and the public.

Hi Dave love the vids, I brew in a klarstein fullhorn biab and am very happy with it, I fully understand some people like shiny kit with all the bells and dogs dangly bits, some are constrained by space and time limits, but at the end of the day they all do the same thing make beer it doesn't matter one iota the only thing you get at the end is beer you still have to clean up, I brew outside even in winter swmbo doesn't like the smell, for me the money doesn't justify what you get at the end of the process acheers.
