Will be 3 weekends until I'm brewing, but looking forward to it - really not sure what is next, likely a lager.

Sorry - one more post and then no more for 2019 about the shed ;)

Good to do my first kegging and clean up in there and having a space to make mess and a sink that could take the corny and the fermentation bucket was great. Happy days. The water tastes great from the cheapo filter system too - soooo chloriney here.

Merry Xmas - hope the shed gets finished fully in 2020 :)

Well, progress at LAST... UFH in and plumbed, screed next then tiling... Can't wait to start building the unit (along the wall where the UFH manifold is). Hot n cold water ready for sink, just got to extend the ring main from the utility room, through the wall.

Which cheapo filter did you end up with?

Nice heating! I was very tempted to go for UFH but in the end went for a standard radiator so I have have more control over the heating - in that when not in use the shed will be cold, but when I want to be in there I want it warm swiftly, and a rad would give me that where as UFH is good for a very stable temp. Look forward to seeing more pictures!

Well, lots of time recently due to me losing all my broadcasting work, so been busy in the shed- conservatory, as the Missus calls it, brewery as I refer to it!! Wiring and Tiling all but done, (need some more grout, but all the tiling places are shut presently) and sink in place. Just waiting for my mate to pop round and help me with the 2m of 30mm granite for the worktop- by Christ it's heavy man!!
Can't wait to get the Robobrew in and working, I've completely cleared all my stocks of HB, just one tub of Razorback to keg later tonight...

Looking good! And yes just a random single hole mixer from ebay - we had a cheap one of those ones where the pipe can pull out for the house - and it was terrible, but a friend had a spring one that looked good. Fits well over the keg and was about £31 delivered.

It seems OK, not sure how it would be as the daily kitchen tap, but it does the job and looks pretty good - by the time I'd got to things like taps all the money was gone!

No changes in there lately, just getting more use as an office and a play room with us all at home all the time!

We have a Howdens branded one as our everyday kitchen tap (and it was a hell of a lot more expensive than that one) - it was really good at first but the tap loosens easily and isn’t particularly easy to tighten up again.

Well, here's the (ALmost!!) finished job. Thanks to crowcrow for the tap recommendation, it seems well made and incredible value for less than 30quid!!
The Belfast sink (which has been sitting in the garden as a planter for 5 years or so, has cleaned up really well- in fact it's better than the one in the kitchen...!!!
Just need to finish the grouting (run out of the stuff...) and find/build some cupboard fronts, then I can begin my Robobrew experience!!!
