Hi,

I am new into the brewing experience and after months of kits and malt extract attempts, I have now moved onto all grain brews, unfortunately, my 1st attempt ended up being tipped down the sink (all 21 liters), but the 2nd attempt is looking and smelling much better.

I now have a question for the experts out there.

I have a heating system setup, that keeps my wort around 20 degrees and I measure this by keeping the sensor submerged in the wort (it is airtight), can this cause any issues with the flavor of the brew (everything was sterilized), I also have another thermentor that I installed a copper extension that allows me to take the temp internally, but I am not sure if you should be using copper after the boil.

Any support or guidance welcome.
