just made a Youngs harvest bitter with normal sugar just wondering if when we come to bottling will it be sweeter already and need less sugar to prime?

I assume the priming sugar is just for the carbonation and not the taste so it'll probably be the same amount

I believe it will just ferment out the same as other sugar in the wort and you would prime as normal

your gravity will tell you how much residual sugar is left in the beer, yeast will consume normal sucrose like it will those produced in the wort. you can dry out a beer with too much sugar which might not be desirable for certain styles
