Thought I’d have another stab at a grapefruit pale ale but with a little more hop flavour.

    4.5 kg of MO
    230g of Crystal

    Hops

    30g Challenger @ 60
    30g Challenger @ 5

Fancy trying something like this myself.

    Why frozen juice?

Helps the wort chill quicker at the end.
You can use actual grapefruit and peel.

How did the last one come out? I am going to have a go at one with the grapefruit essence from maltmiller. Will use some grapefruit as well and a load of cascade.

Nice and light - easy drinking, want a little more hops this time round though.

My latest brew tastes and smells strongly of grapefruit. Hops used were Cascade and Chinook in a 3:2 ratio hop-bursted at 15/10/5 minutes. No other additions required.

Not used Chinook yet. May have to have a go with that.
