Thought I’d have another stab at a grapefruit pale ale but with a little more hop flavour.

4.5 kg of MO
230g of Crystal

Hops

30g Challenger @ 60
30g Challenger @ 5
30g Mosaic @ 5
30g Amarillo @ flameout
30g Mosaic @ flameout

1l frozen grapefruit juice at chill.

How did the last one come out? I am going to have a go at one with the grapefruit essence from maltmiller. Will use some grapefruit as well and a load of cascade.



Nice and light - easy drinking, want a little more hops this time round though.

My latest brew tastes and smells strongly of grapefruit. Hops used were Cascade and Chinook in a 3:2 ratio hop-bursted at 15/10/5 minutes. No other additions required.

Not used Chinook yet. May have to have a go with that.
