Hello, I'm Bill, originally from Wales but lived all over the UK. My dad started me off in the homebrewing world as a teenager with a tin of wort from a DIY shop and a crate of screw-top bottles from the 60s. By university I was pretty popular after the student union closing time.
Nowadays the alcohol doesn't do it for me, and I'm interested in low and non-alcoholic beers and the techniques used in their production. The market is so better populated now than back when there was just the dusty bottle of Beck's Blue on the shelf!
