As you can see from the picture, the inside of the kettle is getting quite heavily stained. I'm inclined to be not bothered about it, just wondering does anyone else bother getting it back to like new and if so how do you go about it?

After a brew I'll cover the elements with water and put in some oxi and give the elements a five minute blast. This gets most of the crud off the elements. The rest gets wirewooled off and the sides get a rub with a cloth. It usually sits overnight or a couple of days before the lot gets a rinse, dried and put away.

HDPE seems to be quite an absorbant plastic. My first FV ended up looking like that (in fact it was worse),before I chucked it. I dont think you'll be able to get that staining off.
