Hi All, I like making beer and I like drinking beer. I really enjoy when someone else drinks my beer and likes it over beer from a pub.
Been brewing beer for about 20 years mainly from extract kits and I play around with yeast, sugars, volumes of water to alter flavour and strength to suit.
I bottle everything so I can have a good variety in stock so I don't get bored drinking the same thing.
The bottles keep for months and don't go flat.
My top tip would be apart from all the usual sterilise, consistency of temperature to ensure the yeast starts and does its job.

Welcome to the forum. Just like you I bottle too. It’s nice having a variety.

Greetings.

I bottled about 3 brews then went onto corny kegs x2 as Im lazy and CBA with the 40 odd bottle malarkey. Im a lot happier with kegging as long as I don't have gas dramas. I also prefer a clearer brew without sludge. But Im still new to it all.
