Good evening All,

Obviously I’m new to the forum, and am relatively new to home brewing. It’s something I had wanted to do for a while, but started off in March last year and made my first batch, which exceeded my expectations and I’ve not looked back since.

10 months on, and 11 batches of beer made, I’m definitely still learning and still making mistakes, but am loving the process, loving the new skills I’m picking up along the way, and always enjoying the end result.

I look forward to getting acquainted with you!

Well, you should have ideal water for brewing with where you come from!

Welcome!

I mentioned in my post about mistakes I’ve made…

I bought 40L of Tesco bottled water for my first batch!asad.

it didn’t take too long, and too much research to learn how years ago breweries in London would ‘Burtonise’ their water… and I chose to do the opposite! Oops!

Welcome,
I'm probably just down the road from you, possibly seen you in brews of the world.
Fellow Burtonian here

Thank you!

@Subtle Duck I’m new to the area. The only time I tried going to Brews of the World, it was closed during one of the lockdowns, and haven’t made it back since! It won’t be long though.

thanks all for the warm welcome!
