Hey folks,

been brewing in earnest about 3 years - wide range of styles mostly American style double west coast IPAs (brew what you like to drink)

currently have a black IPA (brewdog libertine black ale clone) carbonating in the keg and a Belgian Tripel (mashed together a few Karmeliet clone recipes) fermenting away.

I’m interested in branching out into sour/funky beers this year.

Just upgraded from a BIAB stock pot & propane burner set-up to an all-in-one (35L brewzilla) after a bit of a sparging accident where the home bodged frame I suspended my grain bag from during sparging snapped and sent 15kg of waterlogged grain into my stock pot full of 80°C wort - a bunch of which ended up on me! 😣

Look forward to chatting on the forum with you all!

How near Manchester - and which direction is Manchester from you?

Oh, and by the way welcome
Know Chorley well - we used to live in Standish

please have a look at our co-operative malt buy site 25kg Crushed Pale Malts

We have people in Preston and Wigan who already buy via us

Enjoy your brewing, take care :hat:
