Next week we are celebrating asad.asad. my mother-in-laws 90th birthday

All the family are meeting via Zoom for a family quiz, we have each been allocated a decade to base our questions around

I have been allocated 2000 to 2009

To save me having to do any thinking on my own :tinhat: plus with the idea of creating some different, stimulating questions I am looking for some ideas for questions relating to that decade

The questions could be on any topic BUT remember it's a family quiz!

It might be more interesting if when you post a question you do not give the answer for a couple of days to see what bright sparks :confused.: we all are

Would appreciate your help here

Any problems there's always OB's problem page OB's Problem Page

Using the Tinsith equation, what is the IBU contribution from 50g of pellet hops with an alpha acid content of 12% boiled for 30 minutes in 25L of wort with a specific gravity of 1.055?
Too easy - the mother in law will get that straight away

Providing she has her hearing aids in and her spectacles on

Is the answer "only from some angles"?

... Aunty Elspeth wants to know whether those figures for volume and gravity are at the start or end of boil, if at start what's the boil off rate, how many decimal places you want the answer to and whether there's any malted milk biscuits left in the tin? :confused.:

Cheers, PhilB
