After many years 'in the wilderness' I have made a gentle return to home winemaking. If I learned anything the first time round (which was not a lot) I have forgotten it by now! Made a few bottles last summer, with varying success, but only forced to chuck one demijohn away so far (gooseberries from farm hedge, very sour, and cloudy brew). Have just started off an Apricot (tinned) from CJJ Berry book, ditto a Dried Fig, and just today, a Wilko's Elderflower for quick results.
