So unless anyone else has a beer in the post I’m not aware of, that makes entry into the October “Dark Beer” category officially..........CLOSED!!!

Just look at the entries laid out before your eyes (and spot yours [emoji6])

As I said judging is planned for this Friday. And after my hangover has worn off I will post the results back early next week.

If I’m organised and get the electrical connections done I might even be able to do the top 5 on my YouTube channel from the new brewshed.

Anyway good luck everyone.

I’m heartened by how much people have embraced this comp and I cannot wait to test out your beers [emoji4]

Have you got some help drinking these Hoddy? That's a pretty big session if your doing them all tonight. Hic!

He even managed to type straight and not slur after all that beer

We finished all of the beers, and did the final tot up of the points, and finished the write up of the top three by about 1.30-2am.

Needless to say there was only 1.5 points between 1st and 3rd place. And only 4 points between 5th and first. It was a very close race with absolutely outstanding beers in there.

Didn’t manage to do the judging from the brew shed as I still haven’t got round to getting the power connected.

I am going to see how I could do the results from there tho if I can.

After my hangover has worn off......

Such a great mix of beers to grace any ones fridge there! A nice night in I bet..

So here are the results!!!!

I can say the judging was really tough as there was some outstanding beers in there. Which made it tough if your beer wasnt stand out. Hopefully the feedback i have sent everyone is detailed enough. If anyone does want any more feedback then just give me a shout.

My congratulations to @JCEG316 as he produced and submitted some seriously good beers. I never would have thought a 8% dopplebock could taste so good. And as you can see there was a small margin in those top 5 beers.

Conversely i don't think we have ever seen anyone come at the top of the table and the bottom in two submissions :O) @Leon103

Well done all, great comp and build up this one. Credit to @Hoddy :thumb:
Really need to pull my finger out if I'm to get anywhere near the top of the leader board at the moment.
I don't think a week old stout ever really stood a chance though:oops:

Congrats to all. And thanks to @hoddy for judging so many beers and providing really good feedback.

Would love some feedback please Hoddy.
Great to see a good line up of beers, and well done to the winners.

Can I suggest on the results how many years brewing each competitor has under their hat,it would be interesting to know.
