Hi All,
I built this 10 gallon system towards the end of last year and have now used it twice. It is half home built. I bought a mash tun from Angel Homebrew and then built the rest myself. The link below should go to a google doc that I wrote covering the bits I used and the general layout as used for mashing and sparging.

or if the link is too long, this is the same:

Except the link doesn't keep the formatting very well for some reason.
Overall, I've been quite pleased. Only adjustment I required after the first brew was my false bottom needed something to hold it in place, so I cut up some old shelf supports to make a trivet-like thing to sit on top of it. That worked well this time round. I don't use a bag for the mash, just direct in the tun- I much prefer it this way. So far I've made an IPA and a bitter with it. Interested to see how well it deals with wheat when I do a hefeweizen in 2-3 months.
Anyone with ideas of better ways of running the system, I'd appreciate the comments.
Cheers,
Glyn
